Build a More Effective Database
Part of the "Marketing Matters" Series
Presented by Arts & Business Council
An arts organization’s database is one of its most essential assets. But too often, patron records are actually distributed among several internal database “silos,” each employing its own platform, following its own protocols and being managed by different individuals. If this sounds a bit like your organization, it’s time to think about data centralization.
This two-hour workshop will focus on building and sustaining a more unified, integrated organizational database of customers, patrons, donors and other constituents, and discuss why this can make for more coordinated and successful marketing and fundraising efforts moving forward. You’ll leave the session with a better understanding of ways to ensure your databases (if they are multiple) are being integrated and “talking” to each other, plus insights into methods and procedures that protect the integrity and utility of your database over time.
