Building Successful Campaigns
A Workshop
Presented by Community Media Workshop
Issue campaigns are exercises in storytelling. Like any good book, they need a narrative that resonates with the audience; a simple theme that encapsulates all the action; sympathetic characters trying to do the right thing; and a bad guy who needs to be kept in check. This training will spotlight campaign techniques and tactics that work. With: Mike Truppa, Mike Truppa Communications
Participants will learn:
- How to maintain message consistency across a broad coalition.
- How to maximize media coverage, identify universal themes, and define the opposition.
- How to combine various tactics and communications strategies to run a successful issue campaign that gets results.
