Andrew Micheli
Andrew Micheli is the Director of Programs at the Arts & Business Council of Chicago where he helps develop and execute programs for arts management consulting and board training, placement and development. Prior to that, he split his time between advertising and nonprofit theatre. He’s appeared in over 30 productions in Chicago and New York, with film and television credits including High Fidelity and Early Edition. As a former ensemble member of American Theater Company, when not on stage, Micheli served in many roles, most often working on advertising and promotions for season productions, events and benefits. At the same time he worked in advertising and design, with focus on market evaluation and targeting, brand development, and advertising campaign creation and execution. A few past clients included Schwinn Bicycle Company, Chicago Historical Society, The Alzheimer’s Association, The Episcopal Church and prescription drug accounts for Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, ALZA Corporation and Amgen. Micheli received an MFA in Creative Writing at Columbia College Chicago.
