Website Planning, Design and Usability

A Workshop

Presented by Community Media Workshop

Ever wonder why some websites make sense right away, while others make users hunt, search and possibly leave? The best websites are planned, organized and designed with usability practices in mind.

This session will offer interactive examples, quick fixes and long-term strategies to get your site looking and behaving better. We'll identify the questions that need to be answered when planning, building and maintaining a nonprofit website. With Emily Lonigro

Participants will learn the following:

  • Steps to planning a website (re)design (hint: it's about the content)
  •  Website usability guidelines and best practices
  •  Free and cheap online resources
