Mission Statement:

The Evanston Symphony Orchestra is a community orchestra that provides quality affordable and accessible classical music entertainment that enriches the orchestra, audience and community

Organization Description:

An all volunteer 90-piece orchestra under the professional leadership of Maestro Lawrence Eckerling.  The ESO performs a 4 concert subscription series at Pick Staiger Concert Hall, a family holiday concert at Evanston Township High School and a free summer open air concert series at Westfield Old Orchard.  The ESO also has outreach programs to Head Start and the middle schools in Evanston and Skokie.  We also provide free lecture recitals at Presbyterian Homes, open to the public, featuring our music director and upcoming soloists
